“You Had A Bad Day”, which Renee originally had written as a full length pilot, was encouraged by a CFAA (Capital ​Film Arts Association) member to enter her script into “A Place Called Sacramento” Short Film Festival, hosted by ​Access Sacramento. Eager to see her pilot idea on the big screen as a proof of concept, Renee condensed her 45 page ​script to 10 pages. Amongst tight competition, Renee was contacted by Access Sacramento that her pilot was selected ​to be produced into a short film, which premiered at the Crest Theater in Sacramento on October 13, 2023.
